LJ was born to Charles, & Elizabeth Coon in Lorain, Ohio. At the age of ten his Father provided him with a dream by giving him his first guitar. Since then he has been in love with Music, Singing, & Songwriting. LJ moved to Nashville in 1995 where he lived for several years. There he was able to better craft his skills, & meet wonderful friends within the Music Industry. He now makes his home in Manchester, New Hampshire with his family, but continues his Nashville ties with great pride. Presently LJ has a catalog of over 500 songs, and is a member of BMI. He has won many Country Music Awards for Song of the Year,in both Country, & Gospel categories. He has also won awards for Best Recording, & Most Promising Rising Artist. LJ currently writes & publishes songs through Starr Track Music for himself, & others. His work has been heard on Radio, & Television spots, & his CD "Livin In The Country Lane" receives airplay throughout Europe on the BBC. He has performed extensively throughout the New England Region, & in Tennessee. Recently he has been invited into the UK, and the Canadian Region as well. He was especially honored to perform his song; "The Wall" for Maya Lin (the Vietnam Wall Memorial Architect)& over 1000 others at It's dedication Ceremony in Washington DC. The song was placed in a time capsule there for future generations to experience.
